Students from all Cy-Fair ISD high schools will showcase nearly 900 projects this week at the 24th annual CFISD Livestock Show and Sale Feb. 8-10 at the CFISD Exhibit Center, 11206 Telge Road, Cypress.

Last year’s premium sale, freezer sale and donations garnered a total of $800,000 from the community.

“The agriculture program is alive and well in CFISD,” said Denise Kubecka, lead curriculum coordinator in the career and technical department. “Enrollment in ag classes is the highest it has ever been. With this experience, students learn more than animal science, carpentry/welding or horticulture.”
