Nyam Nyam Cafe will be closing this October, officials announced in a July 25 Facebook post.

“This decision comes after much reflection and consideration, and while it fills us with sadness, we are deeply grateful for the years of support and love you have shown us. Each dish we served was crafted with passion, and every customer who walked through our doors became part of the Nyam Nyam family,” the post states.

The details

Mikhail and Nataliya Goryachev opened Nyam Nyam Cafe in 2015, offering Eastern European cuisine, including kebabs, sweet and savory crepes, pierogi, borsht and goulash as well as coffees, teas and breakfast dishes.

Community Impact previously reported the Fairfield-area cafe was set to close in the fall of 2019, but after working out a lease deal with their landlord and receiving additional community support, the owners decided to remain open.

What’s next

Officials said catering services and custom cake orders will continue to be available after the restaurant closes its doors.

T-shirts and mugs will be available for sale during the cafe’s last few weeks in business.
