Tikka Shack celebrated its grand opening Jan. 24 at 134 Vintage Park Blvd., Ste. H, Houston. The menu features traditional Indian dishes as well as build-your own options with menu items ranging from butter masala and goat vindaloo to lamb biryani and samosa chaat. 281-573-8455

Miami-based P.Pole Pizza opened its first Texas location May 22 at 12344 Barker Cypress Road, Ste. 140, Cypress. The eatery features unique rectangle-shaped pizzas made with fresh ingredients that guests can choose from when building their own pizzas. Houston-based Deen’s Cheesesteaks and Pizza opened a new location at the former Jade Garden, 12740 Grant Road, Cypress, on April 5. New seafood-forward Italian concept Passerella opened to the public May 17 at 9945 Barker Cypress Road, Ste. 122, Cypress. Menu offerings include soups, salads, seafood, beef and chicken dishes.
