2. Weng’s Express Asian Cuisine opened Oct. 29 at 10807 Huffmeister Road, Ste. 190, Houston. The eatery serves spring rolls, soups, ramen and fried rice as well as shrimp, chicken, tofu and beef dishes. 3. After being temporarily closed, Playa Azul Seafood & Oyster Bar reopened at its new location at 9630 Jones Road, Houston, from 10966 Grant Road, Houston, on Nov. 1. Playa Azul serves seafood plates with a variety of options for the main dishes, such as shrimp specials, fish fillets and oysters. 4. Officials with Soto’s Cantina announced a second location of the eatery opened Oct. 24 south of Jersey Village at 11755 W. Little York Road, Ste. 206B, Houston. The menu features tacos, flautas, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, tostadas, enchiladas, seafood dishes and other Tex-Mex dishes.
