Organic vodka, fresh lemon juice and ginger-infused syrup is topped with soda and garnished with hand-pressed rosemary to create the $9 Rosemary Lemon Press at Frio Hill Country Grill in Cypress.


Manager Ashley Underwood said cocktails on the menu incorporate fresh ingredients to complement the Southern comfort food menu.


“We wanted to steer clear away from thick juices [and] a lot of syrups,” she said. “We wanted to go with fresh juices, herbs and fruits to keep it natural and easy on your stomach.”


Patrons can also find several local craft beers on tap and other signature drink, such as the Cucumber Cooler, Pecan Old-Fashioned, Blueberry Basil Limeade and Smoked Mango Margarita.


Happy hour specials include $5 well drinks, $2.50 domestic drafts and $1 off wine from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The eatery also rotates a featured craft beer of the week for $3.50 per pint, half-off wine bottles on Wednesdays and bottomless mimosas for Sunday brunch.
