Flor de Cana rum, Deep Eddy Ruby Red vodka, grapefruit juice, mint and a soda spritz make up the $9 Mojo Mojito Fair at R&R Crafthouse Grill. Owners Bob Gazdek and Rick Cantu said they put their own local twist on classic cocktails. “The trend is that classic drinks are coming back, so it’s just a deviation from the classic mojito,” Cantu said. “All of our specialty drinks are using high-end liquors.” Craft beers from local breweries Karbach, Lone Pint, Saint Arnold, Bearded Fox and 11 Below are on tap at R&R, along with craft sodas. During happy hour—2 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday—the bar offers deals on domestic beer, house wines, well drinks, frozen margaritas and frozen rosé. Popular items on the food menu include burgers, flatbreads, onion rings, hand-cut fries, chili, steaks, and fish and chips. Gazdek said the R&R team focuses on quality food, making as many items in-house as possible.
