Jersey Village’s new clubhouse at Jersey Meadow Golf Club is now open to the public after about nine months of construction.

The project

The facility—which opened April 19—will be used for golf as well as a space for community groups to hold events. The location held a soft opening a few days prior to April 19, according to an April 16 social media post from Jersey Village Mayor Bobby Warren.

The city of Jersey Village contracted with Brookstone Construction to build out the space, which was designed by FGM Architects. The clubhouse includes:
  • A new pro shop
  • Office space
  • A new bar and grill
  • Event space
  • Storage
  • New bathrooms
Deliberation and planning for the project started in 2017 when council first authorized a renovation study for the existing clubhouse, as previously reported by Community Impact.

Jersey Village City Council approved a guaranteed maximum price of $8.72 million for the clubhouse renovation and the conversion of the existing clubhouse into an event center last spring.

Stay tuned

After the new clubhouse is completed, the city will begin work to renovate the old clubhouse building, Community Impact previously reported. That project is anticipated to wrap up around early fall.
