A new center for industrial development is under constriction on Telge Road, north of the Grant Road intersection.
The second phase of the Telge Industrial Business Park, which is being developed by the Adkisson Group, will be completed by the end of this year or early 2018, Vice President Steve Adkisson said.
The first phase, which includes 13 buildings ranging from 4,500 to 15,329 square feet of space, has been fully leased or sold to oil and gas companies, he said. Phase 2 involves adding another 18 buildings ranging from 4,500 to 12,040 square feet.
“[Phase 2] should be done by year end, January or February at the latest,” Adkisson said.
Once completed, the developer will move on to Telge Business Park II, the next phase of the project. Plans for the future section involve constructing another 16 buildings, which should be completed within the next year, Adkisson said. The project continues to receive interest from oil and gas companies looking to plant roots in Cy-Fair, he said.
The park is a separate project from the first, but both will occupy space on Telge Road, Adkisson said.
“As far as the business park, it’s all together, but signage will distinguish the two," he said.
Buildings at the park are fully-insulated and feature grade-level doors and dock high and drive-through capability.
