2,862 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Cy-Fair from Jan. 13-19

As of Jan. 19, at least 41,164 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed across the 10 ZIP codes that fall within Cy-Fair ISD’s boundaries. This includes 8,088 active cases, 32,853 recoveries and 223 deaths, according to Harris County Public Health.

In the past seven days, 2,862 new cases have been confirmed locally.


The total number of active cases in Cy-Fair reached 8,323 on Jan. 18, which is the highest number of active cases the community has had at any given time since the start of the pandemic, according to county data.

Data shows there are 287,753 total cases in Harris County, 50,234 of which are active as of Jan. 19. Find comprehensive data for Harris County here.
