All afterschool events for Friday, Aug. 25, including athletic events and Meet the Teacher activities have been canceled.
All students must be dismissed from campuses no later than 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25.
Children at Early Learning Centers and the Club Rewind Kick-off camp must be picked up by 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25.
All district facilities will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, through Sunday, Aug. 27, and all weekend activities including SAT testing are canceled.
Decisions about potential school closures for Monday, Aug. 28 will be made no later than 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Aug. 26: Kiddie Academy Hosts Storytime Live—delayed with updates coming
Curious George will visit this storytime event brought to life with a visit from the main character. Refreshments and the chance to learn more about the Kiddie Academy will be available at the event. Aug. 26: SJHR Cypress Chapter Iron Horse Run—delayed to Sept. 9
To raise funds for Dream Catcher’s Stables, which provides equestrian therapy for special needs children, San Jacinto High Rollers Motorcycle Club is hosting an iron horse motorcycle race with a raffle for a mink coat and a canoe. Aug. 27: Cy-Fair Warriors tryouts—canceled for this week
Every Sunday, Cy-Fair Warriors Rugby team will hold tryouts for their male high school team as well as the newly introduced female high school team and middle school team.
