The Cy-Fair community has grown by more than 52,000 residents, or 9.4%, from 2016-21, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey five-year estimates released Dec. 8.During this time frame, an estimated 21,400 housing units were added within Cy-Fair ISD's boundaries, and the median household income increased from $74,415 to $84,451.

As of 2021, the median age of Cy-Fair residents was 34.2 with the under-20 age group making up the largest segment of the population at 30.5%.

When it comes to race and ethnicity, the Hispanic and Latino population remains the largest in Cy-Fair at 40.2%, followed by white with 30.6% of the population and Black with 13.8%.
