Fast Track Swimming is now open in its new location along Shaw Road in northwest Houston, co-owner Phil Garner said via email Jan. 23. The business was previously located along North Eldridge Parkway in Tomball.

Garner, who owns the business with his wife, Cassie Garner, and Matt Hone, said Fast Track Swimming had over 400 people come to its open house.

“It was so great seeing the parking lot and lobby full the first week we were open with our current swimmers and plenty of new ones who had been waiting for us to open,” Garner said. “This new facility is a major step up in size and quality that should be very beneficial to the community for years to come.”

Fast Track Swimming offers infant and toddler water safety classes, learn-to-swim class, swim team prep groups, home school groups and adult lessons, Garner said.

“Our customers can expect a warm pool and pool area for the swimmers while a heated and cooled lobby is available for the parents to watch,” Garner said. “We also have a workout room with treadmills that are free to parents to workout and watch the lessons. With a large rinse off and changing area, the new facility makes getting in and out of either of the two pools seamless.”

The business features a four-lane 25-yard pool alongside a smaller pool for younger children, Garner said. Fast Track Swimming also now offers pickleball, with two indoor courts available 24/7.

“Our certified pickleball instructor will offer after-school [physical education] programs, lessons and clinics,” Garner said. “Open play is also available. Both courts are indoors with controlled cooling, heating and lighting set up just for pickleball.”

Fast Track Swimming also has birthday party packages available for customers, Garner said.

“We are a unique blend of high-quality coaching with a small, family-owned business feel,” Garner said. “We are not a franchise but a locally owned company with a passion for preventing child drownings and helping kids gain a love of swimming.”
