Verlo Mattress—an American mattress franchise—recently opened in its first Greater Houston-area location, officials announced in a Dec. 22 release.

According to the release, the new store's unique concept brings mattresses made at the local factory store and provides tailored mattresses to fit individual customers' sleep needs. The mattresses sold are marked at factory-direct prices, cutting out the middleman-associated markup.

The new 10,000-square-foot store and factory is owned and operated by local Houston franchisees Karen and John Draeger, and offers high-quality, handmade custom mattresses, pillows, adjustable bases and other sleep products, according to the release.

“Verlo Mattress is experiencing growth across America because people recognize the high quality of our sleep products. We are excited to continue that legacy in Houston,” Verlo Mattress President Dirk Stallmann said in a statement.

The Houston Verlo Mattress location is open Mon.-Sat. from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
