A new location of Plato’s Closet, a resale shop catered to teens and young adults, is opening in Cypress. The store buys and sells gently used brand-name clothing and accessories. This location is owned by Kimberly and Christopher Dearing, according to a news release.

“Plato’s Closet fills a distinct niche in the retail market,” Kimberly Dearing said in the release. “We are a part of a unique retail resale business that specializes in the teen and young adult market segment. We don’t try to create new fashion trends, we respond to actual trends in a timely and value-oriented manner.”

Grand opening festivities Oct. 26-29 include Closet Cash for the first customers in line, discounts, bounce-back coupons and drawings for prizes. A DJ will be on-site from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28.
