Following Gov. Greg Abbott’s green light for gyms across the state to reopen May 18 following several weeks of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Life Time Fitness centers in the Greater Houston area are preparing to open their doors to members again Monday at 5 a.m., according to a press release.

The company has implemented safety protocols including enhanced cleaning throughout the day and overnight deep cleaning, cleaning stations for members to use before and after utilizing equipment, social distancing practices in common areas and temperature screening for all staff members.
