Milk and ice cream are mixed with the purple ube vegetable and then topped with toasted marshmallows, candy and sprinkles to form the ube milkshake, named after a purple yam grown in Asia. The drink is sold for $5.25 for a 16-ounce cup and $6.25 for a 24-ounce cup at Zero Degrees.

Zero Degrees serves an assortment of Hispanic and Asian fusion food, including green tea, horchata, milk tea and elote topped with hot Cheetos. The ube milkshake is among customer favorites, store officials said, along with the mangonada and the hot Cheeto chilotes.

Customization options are available for each drink. Customers can add mango slices, boba, lychee cream, and can also receive the drink in a milk bottle or a Mason jar instead of a regular cup. Snack options can be paired with dipping sauces, such as sweet and sour and ranch, officials said.
