After a staff member blends ice, fresh mango, flavor-enhancing powder, mango syrup and milk, the Mango Crush smoothie is garnished with additional fresh mango.

For $4.50, customers can enjoy more than a dozen smoothie flavors and can add boba at no cost, Manager Hung Dinh said.

Smoothyology’s menu includes a variety of other drinks, such as teas, milk teas, coffees and shaved ice, as well as authentic Vietnamese soymilk. Other smoothie options range from pineapple and avocado.

All treats are customizable with fresh fruit, jelly, pudding, popping boba and ice cream. Boba comes in several flavors, such as coffee, taro, strawberry, mango and honey, Dinh said.

“All of our tea is brewed in-house, and our soy milk is homemade,” Dinh said. “It’s all fresh ingredients.”

The shop, which opened Nov. 28, is owned and operated by the Dinh family, which is local to Cypress.
