The Halal Guys[/caption]The Halal Guys will be opening a second Greater Houston area location at 10111 Louetta Road, Houston, by late October. The first area site is at 3821 Farnham Street in central Houston.
“This location was chosen because of many reasons, one being it is home to most of our partners,” said the new location’s owner and operator, Sam Maredia. “We’ve been a part of this community for decades and have seen the growth in diversity. We believe this will be a great location for all to experience.”
The shop is known for gyros, chicken, falafel, hummus and baklava. After starting out of a New York City hot dog cart in 1990 catering to Muslim cab drivers seeking halal meals, the eatery has grown to multiple franchise stores in the U.S. and one in the Philippines.
