With more than 35,000 square feet of space, Houston’s newest trampoline park has brought a ninja warrior obstacle course, jousting battle beam and slam-dunk basketball lanes to Cy-Fair.
After 15 months of searching for an adequate space, overseeing the construction and working out financial details, Stephanie and Grant Pederson opened the facility Oct. 22. Previously, Stephanie was a pediatric nurse, and Grant worked in computer science.
“Since the day I met [Grant], he’s always wanted to own his own business, so we spent a couple years looking into things we could do,” Stephanie said. “We knew we wanted to do something with kids or fitness because those areas are always booming. We went to a birthday party at Urban Air in Dallas and thought, ‘Oh my gosh, this is what we need to do.’”
Because the Dallas market was saturated, the Pederson family decided to venture out and move to Northwest Houston.

Their store will soon be the first to incorporate a rock wall into the facility’s design, and they also plan to build a ropes course within the next two years.
After signing a waiver, selecting an activity package and purchasing sticky socks, jumpers receive a wristband and are free to bounce. While Urban Air’s daily schedule is open to general admissions jumpers, the venue is also available for booking birthday parties and corporate events. Fitness classes will also be offered starting in December.
“Our long-term goal is to be the safest, [most] fun trampoline park in Cypress,” Pederson said. “We want parents to feel like they don’t have to worry about their kids when they come here. We keep them safe, and they have fun.”
