A new antique shop offering 2,000-square-feet of vintage shopping is now open off of Spencer Road int he Cypress area.
Copperfield Trading Co. offers both antique and vintage home articles including rugs, furniture and decor items, as well as a nice selection of restored vintage guitars.
Meet the owners
Owner Sue Ann Goby decided at the age of 74 to create another business in her retirement, according to a September news release.
Co-owner Matthew Ellinger told Community Impact they held a grand opening event Sept. 26 and customers can find unique items such as original artwork and even an organ from the 1800s.
“It’s a very bright, very open shop where you can find cool stuff for your house,” Ellinger said.
What else
Ellinger said they are still looking for vendors who would like to partner with the business to sell items for consignment sales.
