Segment 6 of a Greenhouse Road widening project in Cypress wrapped up in the second quarter of the year from north of Cypress North Houston Road to Cypress Creek near Hwy. 290. Segment 5 is slated for completion in the third quarter from Cornerstone Arbor Drive to south of Cypress North Houston Road.

The project entails the construction of the remaining two lanes of the four-lane concrete boulevard and a traffic signal at Towne Lake Parkway, according to Harris County Precinct 3.

Cost: $3.5 million (Segment 5), $1.8 million (Segment 6)
