Officials with real estate development company Howard Hughes announced in an Aug. 24 news release that preleasing is underway for homes in Wingspan, and the first residents are set to move in this October. Wingspan is the first build-to-rent neighborhood in Bridgeland, and it features 263 homes inspired by modern farmhouse design.

According to the release, the neighborhood has single-family attached and detached homes including casita-style homes, townhomes and duplexes with gated backyards and garages available in select units. One- to three-bedroom floorplans range from 650-1,700 square feet.

“Wingspan is an attractive option for residents wanting the lock-and-leave flexibility of renting along with the benefits that come with living in Bridgeland—including exceptional amenities, top-ranked schools and exciting commercial offerings,” Vertical Development Vice President Travis Guinn said in the release.

Amenities for Wingspan residents include a pool, indoor fitness center, playground, pet park, and outdoor spaces with fire pits and grills. Walking trails and the 22-acre Chrysalis Lake are located nearby.

The neighborhood is zoned to Cy-Fair ISD, and students living there will attend Wells Elementary School, Sprague Middle School and Bridgeland High School.
