Owner Lizeth Garcia, who has nearly 30 years of experience in personal training in the fitness industry, said she was looking for a way to extend her career and found stretching was a key component of ongoing fitness as she aged.
“I found that I just wasn’t able to be as flexible as I was in my 20s when training my clients without focusing on stretching,” she said, so she decided to focus on helping others do the same.
The studio utilizes proprioception neuromuscular facilitation, which is a stretching technique used to increase flexibility and range of motion while improving muscle performance by oxygenating the muscles during the stretch.
Stretch Revolution also offers StretchTech Training, a 90-hour program of theory and intense hands-on training for stretch therapists to learn a variety of assisted stretches and techniques and how to create routines for clients of all ages, body composition and flexibility levels.
