Aug. 3: Join an Asian cuisine class

The Cy-Fair Women’s Club will host an Asian cuisine class as part of its monthly meeting. CFWC member Susan Glass will share simple Asian recipes, tablescape ideas and napkin folding techniques.Aug. 7-11: Learn to fight like a Jedi

Stageworks Theatre’s summer courses continue with a five-day “Saber Scene Play” class for ages 8-12. Student “Jedis” will create their own storyline and script and present their saga at an end-of-camp performance.Aug. 7-18: Learn a new craft

Aug. 25: Go bowling with the Chamber


The Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Ten Pin Challenge sponsored by Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. Each team will receive three bowling games, shoe rental and meal tickets.

Aug. 31: Shoot clay for scholarships

The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation will host its annual clay shooting tournament to benefit its student scholarship fund. The event will consist of a gun safety briefing, clay shoot, awards ceremony, raffle drawings and reception. Food and beverage will be available.
