Bridgeland, a local master-planned community in Cypress, will host its 15th annual Nature Fest on May 6 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Oak Meadow Park, 17730 House & Hahl Road, Cypress.

Headlining this year’s event is Jeff Musial, a renowned wildlife expert who has garnered national recognition for educating the public on television talk shows, including “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” He uses his extensive knowledge of the thousands of rare and exotic animals he has rescued and his comedic personality to teach people of all ages about the animal world, according to a news release.

“Nature Fest offers our guests an opportunity to learn from some of the world’s most sought-after wildlife experts and have face time with animals that are not typically accessible,” Bridgeland’s Director of Residential Marketing Lona Shipp said in a statement. “Jeff Musial shares our commitment to environmental stewardship, and we are excited to have him as this year’s headliner. Nature Fest attendees are sure to enjoy his vast knowledge of the animal kingdom.”

In addition to Musial, the day's events will feature educational stage shows from Texas Snakes and Crocodile Encounters, Wildlife Revealed, and Jungle Jack’s Magic Show.

Children can also enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, nature exhibitions and other roaming entertainment. Arts and crafts, face painting, balloon art, an inflatable zone, and laser tag will also be available.

Admission is free, with some activities requiring a small fee. All proceeds will go to Cy-Hope, a local nonprofit dedicated to bringing hope and opportunity to every child in the Cy-Fair area.
