Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum celebrated 40 years of volunteer service in early 2023 to acknowledge and celebrate the organization's influence in North Houston, The Woodlands, Spring and Cypress.

According to a Feb. 14 news release, this organization has provided more than $1 million scholarships to graduating senior girls in addition to volunteering through 22 service programs in the area.

The CWJF's first 11 founding members recognized a need for women's service and launched an organization that now has over 300 active and supporting members. These members follow the principle of “making a difference in the lives of children, families, and seniors through compassionate service.”

In addition to CWJF’s 40-year anniversary, the organization was recently honored with the award of Hometown Hero from Interfaith of The Woodlands for its impact on the community.
