Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum celebrated 40 years of volunteer service in early 2023 to acknowledge and celebrate the organization's influence in North Houston, The Woodlands, Spring and Cypress.

According to a Feb. 14 news release, this organization has provided more than $1 million scholarships to graduating senior girls in addition to volunteering through 22 service programs in the area.

The CWJF's first 11 founding members recognized a need for women's service and launched an organization that now has over 300 active and supporting members. These members follow the principle of “making a difference in the lives of children, families, and seniors through compassionate service.”

In addition to CWJF’s 40-year anniversary, the organization was recently honored with the award of Hometown Hero from Interfaith of The Woodlands for its impact on the community. Anyone interested in joining this organization can visit the website or email [email protected]. 832-606-6021.
