Blinn College is expanding its footprint to a new location in Waller this fall beginning Oct. 23 at W.C. Schultz Junior High School at 20950 Field Store Road, Waller.

At this new site, Blinn will offer transferable academic core courses, providing students with an affordable pathway to earn their college degree at a four-year university, according to a Sept. 20 news release.

“We are excited to bring the educational excellence that has defined Blinn College to this vibrant region,” Chancellor Mary Hensley said in the release. “We look forward to bringing the same exceptional instruction, innovation and commitment to student success that has made Blinn the state’s academic transfer rate leader.”

The details

Blinn will begin by offering academic core courses during the fall second eight-week term, including the following:
  • English
  • Government
  • History
  • Math
  • Philosophy
  • Speech
Students attending Blinn’s Waller location will have access to online academic resources, including tutoring and library services.

What else?

Residents of Washington County pay a specific rate referred to as “in-district,” but residents of Harris and Waller counties would pay the “out-of-district” tuition rate. Rate information can be found here.
