A new location of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is opening soon with cafe seating and a drive-thru, according to a news release. The menu features premium Hawaiian coffees as well as food served on King's Hawaiian sweet bread, blended drinks, lattes, cold brews and teas.

Officials said this is the first of 24 stores scheduled to open in Texas. The Cypress location will be the first for owners Heath Rushing and Kyle Price, health care executives who signed a 10-unit development agreement with the company.

“The brand’s authenticity, particularly its Hawaiian heritage, is what drew us in,” Rushing said in the release. “It’s not just about the product, but the unique service experience rooted in the aloha spirit. The essence of the brand mirrors our approach of balancing hard work while also having fun.”

Guests can get their first drink for free when downloading the Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii app and joining ‘Ohana Rewards. A two-day grand opening celebration will be scheduled in the weeks following the opening, when a portion of proceeds will go to Cy-Hope.

The coffee shop will be open from 5:30 a.m.-7 p.m. daily.
