The idea for the studio was born out of co-owner Lacy Shultz’s lifelong passion for physical fitness as well as wanting to help raise funds for an outreach program at her church. What began as a boot camp to help with the program became a small business, Shultz said.
“From there my husband and I were like, ‘Well, what about if we just open up our own studio since you love to do this so much?’ And we put it together in like a month it seems, it was just wild. I don't think I've had time to process it all,” Shultz said.
Her husband, Chad Brown, is a co-owner, and the two are passionate about entrepreneurship and their Christian faith. The website states the mantra “Mind. Body. Soul.”
“We have a prayer jar, and we have daily scriptures for people to take on their way, to inspire them throughout their day,” Shultz said.
Their studio hours are Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.-8 p.m. For more information, call 832-390-1517 or visit www.transform.fitness.
