The northwest Houston-area will experience multiple lane closures this weekend. Here are a few to keep in mind when planning your commute: 1. Eastbound Hwy. 290 will be completely closed from Fairbanks-North Houston Road to Bingle Road from 9 p.m. July 7 to 5 a.m. July 10. 2. One inside lane on eastbound Hwy. 290 will be closed from Mason to Cypress-Rosehill Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Saturday, July 8. 3. Two alternate lanes on eastbound Hwy. 290 will be closed from Telge Road to Eldridge Parkway from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Saturday, July 8. 4. One inside lane will be closed on the westbound Beltway 8-North frontage road from Morales Road to Vantage Parkway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Saturday, July 8. 5. One inside lane will be closed on the eastbound Beltway 8-North frontage road from Northgreen Boulevard to Morales Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Saturday, July 8. 6. One outside lane on southbound Hwy. 249 will be closed from Zion Road to Spring Creek from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Saturday, July 8.
