This year, the Conroe Art League is celebrating 60 years of promoting the enrichment of the Conroe area through the arts. Established in 1963, the Conroe Art League provides classes and workshops for adults and youth, provides scholarships for continuing art education, and sponsors exhibits and juried shows in The Madeley Fine Art Gallery. The gallery is free to the public to visit and features a new exhibit each month by local artists.
Anna joined Community Impact in 2016 and is the editor of the Tomball-Magnolia and Conroe-Montgomery editions. She previously was a reporter for the Tomball-Magnolia edition. Prior to CI, Anna graduated with a degree in journalism from Cedarville University in Ohio where she served as editor-in-chief of Cedars. She also interned with the National Journalism Center in Washington, D.C., the Springfield News-Sun and Xenia Daily Gazette. Outside of work, Anna enjoys snuggling her dogs, Opie and Luna, baking or reading.
