The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a countywide food drive April 28 and 30 to benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank.

Community members can deliver food and hygiene supplies at six drop-off locations in the county from 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. on both days.

According to a news release from the county, social distancing will be practiced, and anyone wishing to drop off donations will not need to get out of their car.


The drop-off locations are as follows.

1 Criminal Justice Drive, Conroe


21130 Hwy. 59, Ste. B, New Caney

19380 Hwy. 105 W., Montgomery

April 30

32878 FM 2978, Magnolia


19100 Unity Park Drive, Magnolia

9200 Grogan’s Mill Road, The Woodlands

Acceptable food donations include: oatmeal; juice; canned meat, including tuna, chicken, spam and beef stew; canned vegetables; canned fruit, peanut butter; rice and beans, boxed snacks and boxed pasta.

Hygiene items include bar soap, paper towels, toilet paper and toothpaste.
