FM 1097 widening
The Texas Department of Transportation’s expansion of FM 1097 between I-45 and Hwy. 75 will include a continuous left-turn lane and is 53 percent completed.

FM 149 widening
TxDOT will start a project to widen FM 149 in Montgomery by the end of the year. The project will add a center left-turn lane from FM 1097 to Hwy. 105.

FM 3083 railroad overpass
The project to widen FM 3083 east of Hwy. 75 from two to four lanes and build a bridge over the Union Pacific Corp. railroad tracks has reached 41 percent completion. The project includes construction of a continuous left-turn lane.

Lone Star Parkway improvements Montgomery County Precinct 1 is repairing the surface of Lone Star Parkway between FM 149 and Hwy. 105. The project includes adding a left-turn lane, and removal of medians containing trees for safety purposes.

M.P. Clark Road extension The city of Conroe is extending M.P. Clark Road, located between League Line Road to FM 830 . The city awarded the contract for the project to Triple B Services, and construction started April 14.

Wilson Road widening
The city of Conroe has completed about 90 percent of design plans for the widening of Wilson Road between I-45 and Frazier Street. Crews will expand the roadway from two lanes to four lanes, make curb and gutter improvements, and add mast-arm traffic signals, sidewalks and street lights. The project will go to bid by the end of summer.
