FM 1097 widening
The Texas Department of Transportation’s expansion of FM 1097 between I-45 and Hwy. 75 from two to four lanes is 90 percent complete.

FM 149 widening
TxDOT will widen FM 149 in Montgomery by the end of the year. The project will add a center left-turn lane from FM 1097 to Hwy. 105.

FM 3083 railroad overpass
The project to widen FM 3083 east of Hwy. 75 from two to four lanes and build a bridge over the Union Pacific Corp. railroad tracks has reached 40 percent completion.

Keenan Cut Off Road expansion
Montgomery County Precinct 2 is expanding Keenan Cut Off Road from two to four lanes with a dedicated left-turn lane. The majority of the project is slated to break ground in 2019. However, portions of the road in front of Keenan Elementary School and Oak Hill Junior High School broke ground in June.

McCaleb Road expansion
The project will expand McCaleb Road from two to four lanes and include a median from Hwy. 105 to the overpass bridge over the BNSF Railway tracks along FM 2854. County officials are in the process of acquiring right of way for the expansion. There are plans to expand the overpass bridge itself in a future project. The widening is a part of an ongoing effort to expand the thoroughfare between Hwy. 105 and FM 1488.

M.P. Clark Road extension
The city of Conroe is extending M.P. Clark Road, located north of Longmire Road, from League Line Road to FM 830. The city awarded the contract for the project to Triple B Services.
