I-45 high occupancy vehicle lane set to open
The northbound HOV lane on I-45 will open for public use on Monday, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. Commuters with at least one passenger can use the lane to travel between FM 1960 in north Harris County and S. Loop 336 in Conroe free of charge. The southbound lane opened Oct. 17.
Early voting coming to an end
Thursday is the last day to vote early for the Nov. 8 presidential election. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day this week.
