Despite recently opening in 2017, Grand Central Park in southwest Conroe has more than 700 residents living in 500 homes by nine different builders, according to Shannon League, director of marketing for Johnson Development Corp., the master-planned community’s developer. League said the 2,046-acre community has homes ranging in square footage from 1,500 to 5,000 and in values from lower than $200,000 to $600,000. League said the residents are fairly diverse, with new retirees, empty nesters and young families. With several shared parks including playgrounds and gazebos under construction along with 336 Marketplace and other retailers a short drive away, League said she believes Grand Central Park offers a combination of urban and natural living.
