The Montgomery County Public Health District is extending hours at the public health clinic in Conroe for back-to-school immunizations, according to a press release.

On July 24 and Aug. 8, the clinic at 1300 South Loop 336 W., Ste. 100, Conroe, will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to uninsured and underinsured children ages 6 months-18 years for $10 each. Medicaid is also accepted. The clinic usually closes at 5 p.m.

Montgomery County had the 25th-highest rate of vaccination exemptions in 2017-18 for reasons of conscience out of 254 Texas counties, a public health issue in public and private schools, officials said.
