The Conroe/North Montgomery County Recycle Center will begin accepting tires Oct. 1, Robert Walker, Montgomery County Precinct 1 commissioner, announced via Facebook on Sept. 17.
The gist
The cost for tire recycling will depend on the tire and whether it’s on or off the rim, and payments will be credit card only, according to the Precinct 1 flyer about the new service.
- Passenger/light truck tires: $4 off rim, $9 on rim
- Heavy/commercial tires: $10 off rim, $15 on rim
