During the past five years, the demographic makeup within the boundaries of Conroe, Montgomery and Willis ISDs became more diverse, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2023 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates data released Dec. 12.

CISD and WISD also saw an increase in the Black population, which rose to 8.9% and 8.5%, respectively, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s data.
Meanwhile, the Asian population within all the school districts’ boundaries increased.
- CISD’s Asian population rose from 4.5% to 5.8%
- MISD’s Asian population rose from 1.6% to 1.8%
- WISD’s Asian population rose from 1.5% to 2.4%
