Two special meetings are being held by the Montgomery County Elections Commission and the Montgomery County Commissioners Court to discuss the county's election procedures and evaluate the county's election administrator.

What you need to know

With just over one month until the Nov. 5 general election, the Montgomery County Election Commission will hold a meeting at 1 p.m. on Sept. 30 to discuss "the position of elections administrator."

Prior to that meeting, the Montgomery County Commissioners Court will meet at 3 p.m. on Sept. 27 for a public workshop regarding county election operations.

Residents will be able to attend and speak at both meetings regarding any concerns about the county election processes.

The meetings will be held at 501 N. Thompson, Ste. 402, Conroe and will be live streamed on the county's website.
