Over the last five years, the populations within school district boundaries in the Conroe and Montgomery area have increased, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2022 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates released Dec. 7.

In a nutshell

The population within the Conroe ISD boundaries increased the most between 2017-2022—growing from 307,550 to 359,542, according to the American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates. Willis and Montgomery ISDs follow behind, growing by 8,553 and 7,095, respectively.

While the median age within CISD’s boundaries stayed the same at 35.6, it rose within the boundaries of WISD and MISD, according to the American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates.
