The city of Conroe approved an organizational structure change including adding three assistant city administrators.

During a Feb. 23 City Council meeting, the council unanimously approved organizational structure changes that made Director of Community Development Nancy Mikeska, Director of Finance Collin Boothe and Director of Public Works Norm McGuire assistant city administrators on top of their existing roles. With the new changes, City Administrator Gary Scott will work directly with the three new assistant city administrators as well as the fire and police chiefs and Danielle Scheiner, executive director of economic development.

"I've worked with all the staff involved in these changes and put everyone in the best position to continue a lasting, enjoyable and productive career with the city of Conroe," Scott said in a Feb. 23 news release.

According to the release, these changes will not require additional costs, and the changes were effective immediately.
