Manager of Utility Billing Karl Brosch introduced the WaterSmart program, a customer service portal and software, during a Fed. 22 Conroe City Council workshop meeting.
According to Brosch, the free program is being implemented to provide city customers with an easy-to-use service portal. Brosch said the platform will provide notifications for possible leaks as well as high water bills. The software also allows users to view consumption analytics, hourly information and recommendations on how to save money through water use.
The software is available to residential and commercial customers, according to Brosch. According to a Feb. 23 news release from the city, customers can register for the program by calling 936-522-3170.
