Walker has received a total of 79.08% of the votes so far, compared to opponent Mike Midler's 20.92% at 12,333 total votes.

"It has been three years since I started this race," Walker said. "I am very humbled by the support of this community. I have always been a businessman and never thought I would be in politics, but I am ready to go to work on day one."

The Precinct 1 commissioner will be replacing Mike Meador, who chose to step down for this election.
