2024 Empower Senior Citizens Resource Fair

The Empower Senior Citizens Resource Fair features a carnival-themed expo with resources for senior citizens, veterans, their families and caregivers. The event will feature entertainment, health screenings, appetizers and giveaways.

RapidCare Emergency Room is hosting a back-to-school event that will feature snow cones, face painting and giveaways.Conroe’s Thursday Concert Series

The city of Conroe is holding a concert series at Heritage Place featuring a variety of bands on Thursdays through September. During this concert, The Spicolis will be performing '80s music.Southern Star Brewing 5K Beer Run


The Southern Star Brewing Company's Race will start and end at the brewery, taking runners through a shady course through nearby neighborhoods. All participants will receive a souvenir pint glass, a race T-shirt and enjoy four 8-ounce pours of their choice of beer.

Kids Pizza Making Class

Russo’s New York Pizzeria Conroe is hosting a pizza-making class where kids can make their own personal New York-style pizza with their choice of toppings and a drink. Parents must remain with their children throughout the class.August Art Exhibition Premiere

The Madeley Fine Art Gallery will host its the premiere of its August art exhibition. Attendees will be able to browse local art, mingle with artists, watch an art demonstration and enjoy light refreshments.Back-to-School Bash

Several local businesses, including Dragon Bowl C, are partnering to host a back-to-school bash. The event will feature a bounce house, water slides and live music. Galindo’s Barber Shop will also give away 50 haircuts.
