Owen Theatre’s 'Holiday Inn'
This weekend, “Holiday Inn” opens at Owen Theatre. The musical follows Jim who moves to Connecticut and turns a farmhouse into a holiday inn to celebrate every holiday.

Genealogy Library Cynthia Ann Parker event
At the Montgomery County Genealogy Library, historical re-enactor Deborah Moran will tell the story of Cynthia Ann Parker, who was the wife of a Comanche chief and mother of Quanah Parker.

Deck the Pines in Woodforest
This annual holiday event will have food and drinks, a holiday tree lighting, live Nativity animals, a DJ, fire-juggling elves, and a mechanical reindeer. Santa will also be available for photos with children.

Montgomery County Mistletoe Market

Light Up The Park
Montgomery will be continuing its holiday tradition at Cedar Brake Park, which will be decorated by local businesses and residents. The event will also feature music and photo opportunities with Santa, and children will have the option to write letters to the North Pole.

City of Montgomery Heavy Trash Weekend
The city of Montgomery is hosting a heavy trash weekend for residents who bring their utility bill showing garbage service and a driver’s license showing proof of residency. This event is first come, first served and will end when the city’s dumpsters are full. Residents are asked not to bring tires, electronics, batteries, asbestos, harmful chemicals or flammable liquids.
