There are several events taking place between Dec. 1-4 in Conroe and Montgomery. Check out a few of them below. This list is not comprehensive.

Owen Theatre’s 'Holiday Inn'

This weekend, “Holiday Inn” opens at Owen Theatre. The musical follows Jim who moves to Connecticut and turns a farmhouse into a holiday inn to celebrate every holiday.

Genealogy Library Cynthia Ann Parker event

At the Montgomery County Genealogy Library, historical re-enactor Deborah Moran will tell the story of Cynthia Ann Parker, who was the wife of a Comanche chief and mother of Quanah Parker.

Chick-fil-A Montgomery Christmas kickoff

Chick-fil-A Montgomery is hosting a Christmas kickoff event that will feature holiday crafts, music and a visit from Santa.

Deck the Pines in Woodforest

This annual holiday event will have food and drinks, a holiday tree lighting, live Nativity animals, a DJ, fire-juggling elves, and a mechanical reindeer. Santa will also be available for photos with children.

202 Main holiday trivia

202 Main is hosting a holiday trivia event that will feature a cash prize of $100 for first place.

Montgomery County Mistletoe Market

The Montgomery Country Holiday Extravaganza will host a holiday market event with women's and children's clothing; home, holiday and garden decor; gourmet food items; handmade and fashion jewelry; and fashion trucks.

Cookies With Santa

Frost Bank in Conroe is hosting an event that will feature cookies and a visit by Santa. Attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras.

Light Up The Park

Montgomery will be continuing its holiday tradition at Cedar Brake Park, which will be decorated by local businesses and residents. The event will also feature music and photo opportunities with Santa, and children will have the option to write letters to the North Pole.

City of Montgomery Heavy Trash Weekend

The city of Montgomery is hosting a heavy trash weekend for residents who bring their utility bill showing garbage service and a driver’s license showing proof of residency. This event is first come, first served and will end when the city’s dumpsters are full. Residents are asked not to bring tires, electronics, batteries, asbestos, harmful chemicals or flammable liquids.

Charles B. Stewart West Branch Library Open House

In Montgomery, the Charles B. Stewart West Branch Library is hosting a Christmas-themed open house that will include pictures with Santa. This event will also include free refreshments.
