The two-week long event spans all Lone Star Family Health Center locations, which includes:

- 440 Rayford Road, Ste. 150, Spring
- 13905 Grangerland Road, Conroe
- 227 Hwy. 75, Ste. 130, Huntsville
The health fair event kicks off July 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Conroe location. The event includes snacks, haircuts, backpacks and community information, according to a July 20 news release.

According to the release, community members who are uninsured are encouraged to request to speak to an eligibility specialist prior to making an appointment for the Don't Miss the Bus event. Well-child visits and vaccines are free for children without insurance, and there is traditionally no out-of-pocket expense for those with insurance to receive preventive services.
A well-child visit is required to receive immunizations at the back-to-school event, according to the release.
Patients must bring:
- A list of required immunizations from their school
- A current shot record
According to the release, appointments can be made until Aug. 4 at any Lone Star Family Health location. Space is limited for appointments.
