June 1: Attend a concert in Conroe

Conroe’s concert series will feature a tribute to Journey by Escape. The event will include on-site food trucks, and outside food and drinks will be allowed. Glass containers are prohibited.

June 3: Shop local vendors in Montgomery

The first Saturday of every month, the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a market for vendors to come out and sell their homemade products to the public.


June 3: Support young entrepreneurs

The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Kid-Preneur day by hosting a fair for kids who own a business. The event will give kids the opportunity to enter a competition by decorating a stand with their business and selling to the public. The event will consist of two age groups: 12 and under, and ages 13-18.June 3: Attend an anime convention

The KimoKawaaii Anime and Convention will return to Conroe for its second annual Anime Experience event. The event will include cosplay contests, voice-over sessions, panels, artists and voice actors.

June 9 and 16: Catch a movie in Conroe

The Conroe Parks and Recreation Department will host its Movie in the Park series. Selections include “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” (June 9) and “Tom & Jerry” (June 16). Guests can bring blankets and lawn chairs. Concessions will be available for purchase.

June 10: Watch a movie in Montgomery


The city of Montgomery is hosting a movie night in the park with a screening of “Finding Nemo.” Food vendors will be available.June 10-11: Attend a reptile show

HERPS Conroe Exotic Reptile and Pet Show is coming to Conroe to feature reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, feeders and supplies. All will be available for purchase at discounted prices.

The Lone Star Street Dance will return for a summer dance night, including dancing to country music in the street. Food will be available for purchase, and guests are invited to bring chairs.

June 25 Attend a band concert

The Montgomery Community Band will host a concert themed “God Bless America.” The concert will include a reception afterward with refreshments.
