Check out these seven events to attend in Conroe and Montgomery this weekend, April 14-16, including crawfish cookoffs, music festivals and adoption events.

April 15: View cars & drink coffee

Conroe ISD will hold its first inaugural districtwide Cars & Coffee event Saturday at Woodforest Bank Stadium. This year's Cars & Coffee will be hosted by The Woodlands High School Automotive Club and will feature a collection of cars, trucks, motorcycles and first responder emergency vehicles. Food trucks will be available.April 14-15: Eat crawfish

The Montgomery County Crawfish Critique will host a two-day cookoff and festival this weekend at the 3 Palms Action Park. Frank Foster, along with other artists, will provide live music. Thirty competition cookoff teams will compete for the 2023 Crawfish Critic Grand Champion. The event will also include activities such as a bounce house and rides. General admission wristbands will come with 10 crawfish tickets. Tickets can be used to get a half pound of crawfish from any team. VIP wristbands will include all-you-can-eat crawfish, private restrooms and bars, and front stage access.April 15: Adopt a dog

B-52 Brewery will be partnering with the Montgomery County Animal Shelter to host a free adoption event. Several dogs and puppies will be available to hang out with and adopt. All adoption fees are waived, and animals will be microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered.April 13-16: Follow the music


The 2023 Conroe Crossroads music festival will take place this weekend at a variety of locations in Conroe. More than 40 bands from all genres will perform at various spots in the city. General admission tickets include access to all nighttime shows. VIP tickets include a festival T-shirt and poster, plus access to an exclusive VIP event Friday at 219 Social House featuring food and drinks.April 15: Attend a wine, beer and crawfish festival

Margaritaville will be hosting a wine, craft beer and crawfish festival at Palm Court. Local breweries and wineries such as B-52, Frankenboltzzz, Southern Star, H-Wines, Bernhardt Winery and Blue Epiphany Winery will be onsite. There will also be live music by Cedryl Ballou and the Zydeco Trendsetters.April 15: Honor the veterans

The Conroe Symphony Orchestra will celebrate 25 years with a special concert at Willis High School Performing Arts Center. "America the Beautiful" will honor veterans with a special guest performance by The Victory Bells, ambassadors from the National World War II Museum.April 16: Support young musicians

The Jazz Connection, a nonprofit organization geared towards young musicians, will have its spring performance at The Table at Madeley. Musicians will perform stage band material from the '30s and '40s to present time.
