A total of 21,864 ballots have been cast in the first week of early voting in Montgomery County, according to election central data.

Early voting in Montgomery County kicked off Feb. 20 and will run through March 1, with election day on March 5. So far, the majority of ballots have been cast in the Republican primary election, according to data from the county.

Early voting will be available through March 1 at 10 locations in Montgomery County from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On election day, voting is also from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., but voters will follow different rules from those in effect during early voting, including:
  • Voting location: varies by location; voters must cast their ballot at a designated location
  • Mail-in ballots: must be postmarked no later than March 5 to be counted
